We are caring for and educating your child during their most formative years, and in order to maintain high standards it is important that parents read the following regulations and adhere to them:
AGE OF ADMITTANCE
PlayPlus at Kingsway, Bourne End caters for children aged from one to five years.
PlayPlus, Baby Unit at Kingsway caters for babies from from 3 months to between 12 and 15 months.
HOURS OF OPENING
Children may be left as early as 8.00 a.m. and collected at the latest by 6.00 p.m.
Daily Care: 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Part-time morning session: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
Part-time afternoon session: 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Half day morning care: 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon
Half day afternoon care: 1.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Daily Care/half days may be extended to include Tea, subject to availability of space.
Sessions/half days can be extended to include Lunch, subject to availability of space.
Charges will be made for late collection.
Parents are requested to adhere to these times strictly unless a prior arrangement has been made with the Nursery Office.
If any person other than yourself is collecting your child, we must be informed of their identity.
Please inform the Nursery Office of any absences e.g. illness or holiday.

The Nursery year runs from beginning September to end August.
Fees must be paid IN ADVANCE, on receipt of monthly invoice.
Fees are subject to a termly review.
Fees are payable for Bank Holidays and absences.
Cheques to be made payable to: ‘PlayPlus Kindergarten Ltd’.
Those parents who register for the Full Year Calendar will be required to pay their full weekly fee for 50 weeks of the year. 25% of your fee will be required for Inset Day, a week at Christmas and a week at Easter when Nursery is closed.
Parents who register for a School Year Calendar will be required to pay for term times only. Fees must also be paid for half terms, even though your child does not attend. No fees will be paid at Christmas, Easter or Summer Holidays.
PlayPlus will repay fees which have been paid, in advance, for sessions after the ending of the nursery place (subject to notice of withdrawal).
Any child suffering from an infectious illness should be kept at home until a doctor has certified them as fit. If your child has been suffering from any illness such as vomiting and/or diarrhoea, at least 24 hours must elapse before returning to Nursery. We reserve the right to refuse admittance should this not be upheld.
Should a child become sick at Nursery, every effort will be made to contact the parents. Please ensure that the Nursery Office (01442 879762) always has an emergency contact number.
The Principal reserves the right to remove a child to hospital in an emergency. Parents would be contacted.
CLOTHING AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
All clothing etc. should be marked with the child’s name.
When the weather permits, children will be allowed outside so please ensure they have suitable clothing.
Articles are left at Nursery at the owner’s risk.
Children should not bring jewellery, money or anything of value to Nursery.
Children should not bring sweets, chocolates, gum or pop to Nursery.
Please exercise great care and consideration in car parking.
People use the car parks at their own risk.
The Nursery accepts no responsibility for injury, damage or loss to persons, vehicles or property.
Notice of withdrawal – 12 weeks notice in writing or fees in lieu of notice. If the place is filled during the notice period, fees in lieu of notice can be waived.
Alterations – Any request for alteration to your child’s attendance must be received in writing. 12 weeks notice is required to reduce attendance.
Anyone wishing to change from Full Year calendar to the School Year calendar must do so at the end of each academic year (August)
A Registration Fee will be required when initially registering your child. Registration Fees are non-refundable.
We are concerned for your child’s happiness and welfare. If after a reasonable period of time it is apparent that your child has not settled, the Principal may advise that the start date is deferred.
The Principal reserves the right to request the removal of a child for any breach of regulations or behavioural problems, should issues not be resolved during parent consultations.
Parents are free to view their child’s records. All PlayPlus policy documents and OFSTED contact numbers are available at each site or on request from the office.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your child’s care, please contact the Principal.
PlayPlus reserves the right to alter these Regulations – parents will be advised accordingly. 12 weeks notice of the alteration will be given .
